Description
Our chocolate is handcrafted in very small batches using single-origin cacao grown on a small family farm in the indigenous mountains of Talamanca, Costa Rica in the town of Suretka.
We are personally involved in every stage of production:
- Harvesting the cacao pods
- Fermenting the beans
- Sun-drying
- Fire-roasting
- Hand-shucking
- Stone refining in 10-pound batches
- Handcrafting every finished chocolate bar
The result is an authentic chocolate made with only two ingredients—cacao and organic cane sugar (except for our 100% bar)—allowing the unique flavor of the cacao’s origin to shine through.
Every bar reflects craftsmanship, transparency, and a direct connection to the farm where it was grown.
